Rolling Stones: "Some Girls" reissue coming

On November 21st, The Rolling Stones will reissue their 1978 album, "Some Girls". It's the band's 16th studio record and it features hits like “Miss You” and “Shattered” - to this day it remains their most profitable effort in the U.S., having been certified six times platinum by the RIAA.

The new reissue has been remastered and it will feature new packaging, liner notes by Rolling Stone Magazine writer Anthony DeCurtis, and never seen photographs of the era by Helmut Newton. It will be sold in three different editions: digital, Deluxe, and Super-Deluxe.
Those who opt for the Super-Deluxe edition will also receive a special 7″ single of “Beast of Burden”, which will sport its original banned sleeve art.

But there's more, probably. Recently, frontman Mick Jagger hinted to Spinner that he completed “all the outtakes”, saying, “We did 'Exile', we did a lot of different takes, a lot of different cuts that hadn’t come out before, so we’re doing the similar kind of thing with 'Some Girls', so I’ve just been doing them because a lot of them weren’t complete, so I had to complete them, and then we’re gonna mix those and put them out for Thanksgiving”.
