The Leeds band will release her new effort "Start the revolution without me" on March 6 and start a tour the same night. The record is not properly new, but in fact it's a new edition of the previous "The future is medieval".
After an only five months break after the release of 2008's "Off with their hands" and the last tour, Ricky Wilson and his fellows spent all their time writing and recording the new tunes. Now they're hitting the US and sharing the Coachella's stage with Radiohead, The Black Keys and more.
The band's frontman talked to the Rolling Stone magazine and explained: "You take a little step back, and now we’re going back to America and we’re flying first class and we’re playing on Letterman and we’re doing all these amazing things," he says. "We’re playing Coachella and doing our biggest U.S. tour. It’s actually really exciting".
Kaiser Chiefs formed in Leeds in 1996. Their successful debut record came out in 2005 and it was titled "Employment". Kaiser Chiefs have released four studio records until now.
