Foo Fighters share stage with Deadmau5

from Rockol.com Staff
Foo Fighters share stage with Deadmau5 No, you're not confusing yourself reading the title of this article. Post-grunge heroes Foo Fighters are really sharing the stage with elettro-house superstar dj Deadmau5.

The occasion for the strange collaboration will be the next Grammy Award ceremony, scheduled for this Sunday, February 12. Dave Grohl's band and the beatmaker will play a remixed version of "Rope", the first excerpt taken from the Foo Fighter's last effort "Wasting light".

This year's Grammys settled in Los Angeles are celebrating electro music and will also feature the French dj David Guetta that will also perform live with guests Chris Brown and Lil Wayne.

Adele has also been confirmed to perform on stage despite her recent vocal surgery. And "The Boss" Bruce Springsteen will preview songs from his new album "Wrecking Ball" on that night. We will also see the new E-Street Band, for the first time without the lamented Clarence Clemons.

In the meanwhile, you can listen to the "normal" version of "Rope" by Dave Grohl and his band fellows.

Kanye West has received the highest number of nominations for the 54th annual Grammy Awards. Adele is also among the favorites with a nominee for Album of the year for "21" and Best Solo Pop Performance for "Rolling in the deep".
