Thom Yorke is planning a new solo record, his second effort after the 2006's "The eraser". The rumor is still not official, but it's circulating in the Web, especially in the italian message board of Idioteque.it, the main italian fansite of Yorke and his band. So, something's gonna happen definitely.
A Twitter user called mypandashallfly has confessed on February 5 that he bumped into the Radiohead's singer in Covent Garden, London, and Yorke confessed that there is "New solo electronica material coming soon". So, probably the Radiohead's leader is planning a new solo release. Maybe a single, maybe an album. Who knows.
So, as far as we know, the side-project with the band Atoms for Peace has been put in stand-by for a moment and Yorke has registered some new material by himself. And, according to the still-not-confirmed Thom Yorke's words, the new effort should go in a more electronic direction, maybe just like his recent double A-side "Twist/Stuck Together".
In the meanwhile, we can see the video for Yorke's first 2006 solo single, "Harrondown hill".
The new record by Thom Yorke may feature an artwork from the old fellow Stanly Downwood, titled "Lost Angeles". There's a blog, that you can see at this adress (http://www.slowlydownward.com/losta.html), that reports the new paintings from the English artist. Let's keep our eyes open.
