Bob Dylan: 35th album out soon
Isis reports that the recording sessions took place earlier this year; the backing band is Dylan’s touring band with the addition of David Hidalgo, who “had been brought in primarily to play accordion and guitar… but ended up adding Mexican instruments”.
The final result should feature 10 tracks, including a 14-minute long composition about the Titanic; another track is said to clock in at nine minutes. At the moment there's no information on the title.
According to Isis "listening sessions for Sony staff in New York and London have already taken place", but those in attendance were sworn to secrecy about what they heard.
