Alexander Skarsgård Named New Face Of Calvin Klein Fragrance!

Today we were graced with the glorious news that Alexander Skarsgård is thew new face of Calvin Klein's men's fragrance Encounter, which means, hahaha, even more reasons to stare at his chiseled face on a daily basis. *shivers* This is this True Blood star's first endorsement (HOW?!), and the new scent is set to hit stores in September. We're loving this scruffy, blue-tinted version of our favorite vampire with his loosely unbuttoned shirt and icy stare, and, guhh, how lucky is that model in the background? But hey, we're not the only ones dying (heh) over his new campaign—even Alexander himself said he really liked the feel of the ads. “Their idea for their concept was very intriguing to me—it was almost like a short film, and very film noir. It felt interesting to me. I wanted to be involved with something where you tell a story—even though it’s a short story.” The senior vice president of American Fragrances for Coty Prestige Catherine Walsh told WWD the scent is intended to be “a new interpretation of the contemporary, confident man. Alexander Skarsgård perfectly reflects the Encounter attitude—modern, stylish and unapologetically masculine.” Um, yes, yes, and yes. Could not agree more! The scent is filled with notes of mandarin, pepper, jasmine, rum (!!!) and musk, which sounds like a spicy mix of manliness we can't wait to smell.
