Hundred Reasons Call It A Day
After completing shows in Manchester and London this November, alt-hardcore band Hundred Reasons are to part company. They announced on their official website that: “This is the final outing for everyone involved, so we hope you’ll join us for a properly good send-off.” This goodbye show will be celebrating the ten year anniversary of their first album ‘Ideas Above Our Station’, which originally entered at number 6 on the album charts in 2002. Even though the album was successful, they were dropped by Sony shortly after but managed to keep on making music, touring and building on their loyal fanbase. The show will also feature support from Cable and Hell Is For Heroes, who will be playing ‘The Neon Handshake’ in full. Commenting on the special line-up, the official website states: “Dream line-up - bands we love, people we love. Been a while in the planning, this, but we’re seriously bloody excited about it.” A hardcore band have never come so close to mainstream acceptance as Hundred Reasons have, and to end on a happy note whilst they haven’t dried up is better than ending with animosity towards each other with no hope of anymore shows or material. Tickets for these final shows will be released on Wednesday 27th June at 9am. Hundred Reasons will play the following shows: November
