The Beach Boys have been together with their historical leader and songwriter for just a few months, but they are already considering another future without him. The californian band has just published their comeback album with Brian Wilson, "That's why god made radio" and have been on the road to celebrate their 50th anniversary. But, according to Rolling Stone, Mike Love is already planning another post-Wilson future. Wilson left the band at the end of the 60s, after writing the masterpiece "Pet sounds" and failing to conclude the work on magnum opus "Smile" due to his mental problems. Love is reportedly scheduling gigs with his lineup of Beach Boys, including only one member of the current lineup. "[That's] news to me. I wasn't aware that Mike had some shows in South America", Wilson told Rolling Stone. Love is the licensing owner of the Beach Boys brand since 1998, preventi other members using it.
