Seventeen People Struck By Lightning At Festival In Sweden

Yesterday seventeen concertgoers were taken to the hospital after being struck by lightning at Sweden’s ironically titled Peace And Love Music Festival. Seriously. .
“First we saw a lightning flash and then we heard a really loud clap of thunder. The next thing we knew, the ambulances had come,” a witness named Amanda Andersen told a local newspaper.

The scary moment occurred around 3 PM yesterday just as the show — which featured Rihanna, Mumford And Sons, Regina Spektor, Skrillex, Bloc Party and Billy Idol – were getting started, although it appears as if no one was seriously injured.
