Rolling Stones reveal new 50th anniversary tongue logo - The Rolling Stones's future plans are still up in the air: will they record a new record? Will the play at Glastonbury in 2013? How will they celebrate their 50th year of career? All these questions had multiple, sometime contradictory answers. At least we have the confirmation that will indeed celebrate the anniversary. Keith Richards and Mick Jagger have commisioned a reworking of their classig tongue logo, unveiled today: the new version reads "The Rolling Stones/Fifty Years", with a 5 ad 0 instead of the S and o in "Stones". The new logo was designed by Shepard Fairey, best known for his "Hope" Barack Obama poster and for designing covers and posters for the like of Tom Petty and Smashing Pumpkins.
