Three New Clips From ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Will Make You Want To See This Film In IMAX 3D

We’re just a few days away from the release of The Amazing Spider-Man, and early reviews indicate that it’s as good, if not better than the Tobey Maguire / Sam Raimi films of the early 2000s. We’ve got what are likely the final three clips, and the way the action’s shot, it looks as though this movie begs to be seen in IMAX 3D. As you’d expect, there’s lots of Spider-Man fighting the lizard, with all of Peter Parker’s trademark snarkiness (a point of emphasis of director Marc Webb).

Well at least we know if the whole superhero thing doesn’t work out, Spider-Man has a career as a harpist waiting for him.

Why didn’t he just web the kid and drop the car in the first place? The car was already on fire, pretty sure it had been ruined beyond repair.

Synopsis: The film, which is now in production and is being shot entirely in 3D, will be released on July 3, 2012. The film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field. The film is directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
