Christopher Owens Leaves Girls
Girls singer Christopher Owens has decided to leave his band, notifying fans via Twitter. Christopher Owens loves Twitter. The West Coast artist allows his feed to become a scrolling jotter for his thoughts, shifting between his opinion of Harry Potter and his views on the Euro 2012 final. Now it seems that the frontman has used it to leave his own band. Christopher Owens will cease to be a member of Girls, instead focussing on as yet un-named projects. Gathered together, the Tweets read as follows: Dear all, This may come as a surprise to many & has been an issue of much thought for me. My decision was not easy to make. I am leaving Girls. My reasons at this time are personal. I need to do this in order to progress. I will continue to write & record music. More will be announced soon. I thank you all for everything.
