Blur unveil two 'new' songs on Twitter
- As previously reported Blur, decided to use Twitter to reveal two "new" songs: "Under the westway" and "The Puritan" were performed last night during a webcasted performance happening on a social network. The songs are not so "new": "Under the westway" had already been performed by Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon during the Brit Award War Child charity show, while "The puritan" had been performed by Albarn on acostic guitar at the Poetry Olympics, last June 14th. The songs are already available to download on iTunes, while a 7" vinyl single is available to purchase on the band's site: you can listen to the studio version of "Under the Westway below". Blur wil perform a small string of shows and festival this summer, leading to the august 12th concert in Hyde Park, closing the Londo Olympics.  >
