Noel Gallagher has denied he is set to write the theme song for the new James Bond film.
Earlier this month, it was reported that the High Flying Birds leader was in talks to perform the theme for the new 007 movie "Skyfall", but the singer has shot down the "bizarre" rumours on his official website Noelgallagher.com.
The ex Oasis axeman wrote: "I don't know where you've seen a story that's doing the rounds about me being offered the job of penning the tune for the new James Bond film? Apparently I'm being courted by '007 bosses!' A meeting 'will be taking place in the next few days'. With some guy called [film producer] "Michael G. Wilson" (whoever he is)!".
Noel Gallagher was raised in Burnage, Manchester, with his brother Liam. He began learning guitar at the age of thirteen.
