Mickey Mouse/Joy Division t-shirt is gone

Disney's Mickey Mouse t-shirt inspired by Joy Division's "Unknown pleasures" album artwork is no longer available for sale.

A spokeperson from the company explained: "As soon as we became aware there could be an issue, we pulled it from our shelves and our online store to review the situation further." So, at the moment, the link to the shirt on the Disney online shop is blank.

The t-shirt raised a huge interest in the online music fans community: the artwork, in fact, blended the likeness of Mickey Mouse with the cover artwork from the band's 1979 album.
Now the more than legitimate question is: how much are these things going to cost on eBay? They already popped up in the popular auctioning site and bids are going up to $220.

It's not easy to determine how many Mickey Mouse/Joy Division t-shirts are floating around, since the item was for sale at Disneyland, Disney World, and online; the decision to retrieve it is due to the fact that the surviving members of Joy Division were unaware of its existence.
