New Noel Gallagher's album will be out next year

All the Noel Gallagher's fans will have to wait for a while. The second solo effort from the High Flying Birds' leader will not be released until next year. The ex Oasis guitarist has confirmed the fact in an exclusive interview with NME.

Noel has explained that he's inteded to work on his second effort, recorded last year together with psychedelic duo The Amorphous Androgynous, after he finish the current world tour. "The Chief" stated: "I've got a break in the middle of this tour in July, so now the plan is to do something then, and then to finish it off after the tour in October. So it might come out at the end of the year, but it's more likely to be next year now".

Noel Gallagher has defined the record as a sort of "Dark side of the moon". "It sounds partially as the first one, but it's more psychedelic and visionary. It's not an electronic record, but has got loads of electric guitars", he added.

Last year, Rockol has talked with "The Chief" about his debut, about his singer-songwriter career and more. You can watch the video interview right here.
