New Daft Punk album may be out in June

Daft Punk may release their new album in June. The detail comes from Paul Williams, the songwriter behind The Muppets classic "Rainbow Connection", who has revealed he has been working with French duo on their new album.

Talking with American magazine Hollywood Reporter, the songwriter stated: "I've been working with Daft Punk. I've written a couple of tunes on their next album. I feel like I don’t want to talk about the stuff that I'm doing with them, because they want a press blackout on the album until it's out".

The latest release of the duo was the Tron: Legacy soundtrack, that has hit the stores on December 2010. The last proper studio album was the 2005 "Human after all".

Chic guitarist Nile Rodgers has also been mentioned among the names involved in the next Daft Punk effort. In the meanwhile, you can enjoy the main theme behind the Disney movie here on Rockol.com via YouTube. Here's "Derezzed".
