Maximo Park announce new album 'The national health': listen here

Maximo Park are preparing their comeback. The English band has just announced the release of his new album "The national health", that will be released on June 11.

The band fronted by singer Paul Smith and has already released three records during her career, including the 2005 acclaimed debut "A certain trigger".

Smith, talking with magazine NME, has explained the main concept behind the record. "We're in a global recession and everyone is being bombarded with bouncy, happy music. The nation is out of control and the record is about taking back control, and being a force for change in your own life. Our songs are built on empathy. I would hope it's as vital a music as people would want to hear", he stated.
