Yoko Ono: a benefit single with Thurston Moore e Kim Gordon

Yoko Ono has teamed up with (former couple - and maybe former Sonic Youth founders/members) Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon; the result of this bizarre collaboration is a new 14-minute track called "Early in the Morning".

The song is is out now (digital only) via Chimera Music; on June 19 it will also be released for iTunes and Amazon.
A 10" vinyl version is set to be out on Jun,e 19 (in the U.S.) and July, 3 (in the UK).

All the profit from this song will be donated to Ashinaga Rainbow House, which is building a Rainbow House in the Tohoku region of Japan for victims of the March 2011 tsunami.

Ono will also release soon "An Invisible Flower": an illustrated story that she wrote in 1952 when she was 19. The book will be out via Chimera Library/Chronicle Books and there will also be a special boxed edition.
