The Rolling Stones are recording in Paris

According to Mick Jagger's official Twitter page, The Rolling Stones spent a week together in a recording studio in Paris, France.
The iconic singer tweeted: "Had fun in the Paris studio this week!"; and also posted a picture of him sitting on a drum stool, holding a Fender Telecaster in front of a few racks of guitars and amplifiers. The band was also photographed entering or leaving a recording studio two days earlier.

So, it's kind of official... The rolling stones will be back, presumably with some new music, to mark their 50th anniversary.

The band - as hinted by Jagger earlier this year - will probably start a celebration tour this autumn.
