Daft Punk and Marilyn Manson for Kanye West's 'Black Skinhead'

As we reported, during an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this year, Daft Punk said they had been with Kanye West in a Paris studio to record live and programmed drums. "It was very raw", Thomas Bangalter said. "He was rapping – kind of screaming primarily".

Looking at the credits of the Vevo video for Kanye West’s "Saturday Night Live" performance of "Black Skinhead", more details emerge: Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, AKA Daft Punk, are included as "Composers", so this must be the track they were working together.

Another intriguing fact is that "Black Skinhead" includes a sample of Marilyn Manson’s "The Beautiful People"... an odd combination, but unquestionably fascinating.
