Alan McGee on Oasis reunion: 'I don't think it's going to be next year'

Alan McGee, the legendary boss of British label Creation Records, recently was interviewed by BBC. One of the topics touched was the possibility of a reunion of Oasis - something that has been in the air for quite some time, now; indeed the 20th anniversary of the band's iconic debut album "Definitely Maybe" could be the right moment for such a thing.

Asked about this reunion McGee, who signed Oasis to Creation in 1993, said: "Yeah, I think they'll come back at some point. I don't think it's going to be next year or anything. If they get back together I'm sure it would be for a mega bucks tour".

The Gallaghers, by the way, seem still pretty far from the reunion thing. Noel simply denied any report talking about a possible reunion, admitting he would do it only if he was really broke: "One can never say never, because one might be skint. But I’ve got no intention. I’m not interested".
Liam, on the other hand, seems willing to bury the hatchet and reunite with his brother and the rest of the band for a celebration...
