Andre 3000 as Jimi Hendrix: watch clip from upcoming biopic

Rapper Andre 3000 has been casted and selected to play the role of Jimi Hendrix in an upcoming biopic called "All is by my side".
The film is set to be premièred during next week's SXSW festival in Austin, but a trailer has been shared online.
In it, we see Hendrix speaking with Linda Keith (played by Imogen Poots), the woman who first brought the guitar player to London, leading him to start his path to stardom.

The movie was directed by John Ridley ("12 Years a Slave") and it tells about Hendrix's formative years in 1966-1967 - when he went from being a backup guitarist in New York City to a guitar god, following his move to London.
The story culminates with his appearance at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967.
