Webby Awards 2014: Pharrell, Jay Z and Beyoncé among nominees

The winners of the18th edition of the Webby Awards will be announced April 29; the list of this year's nominees - people, companies or other entities achieving outstanding goals in the Internet environment - features celebrities such as Beyoncé and Ellen DeGeneres, but also Google and GoPro (the maker of popular mountable video cameras).
Among the online videos, we can find "24 Hours of Happy", the epic 24-hour music video starring Pharrell Williams. Jay Z's album rollout with Samsung was nominated for its interactive media campaign. Even Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" interactive music video was nominated.

The Webbys are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a group of about 1,000 Internet experts and professionals. Webby categories are split into a regular award, chosen by the academy, and a "people's voice" award, which lets members of the public vote.
