Listen to Maroon 5's new single 'Maps'

Maroon 5 are back with a new single - their first taken from the upcoming album called "V". The track is called "Maps" and immediately after being shared it jumped right at the top of the real-time Billboard Twitter Trending 140 chart.

In the tradition of their mega-hits "Payphone" and "Moves Like Jagger", "Maps" will easily be one o the heaviest contenders for the title of "Song Of The Summer", this year. The vibe of the track is in the vein of Sting-Police, with touches of OneRepublic (the production work by Ryan Tedder is evident).

"Maps" is the first single from Maroon 5's fifth,  due out on September 2. The group has sold 11.6 million albums in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan, with "Overexposed" having sold 1.6 million.
