Radiohead: new album's recording to begin in September

Radiohead guitar player Jonny Greenwood, talking to BBC Radio 6′s Mary Anne Hobbs, unveiled the band will soon hit a recording studio to work on a new album (their ninth). "We’re going to start up in September, playing, rehearsing and recording and see how it’s sounding", he said.

Yorke and his colleagues will be back in the studio after a lengthy hiatus, during which several of the band members have focused on different solo projects.
Thom Yorke recorded and toured with Atoms For Peace, while Jonny Greenwood scored the new Paul Thomas Anderson film "Inherent Vice" and drummer Phil Selway recently announced the release of a new solo album.
