Taylor Swift unveils new album title, release date and 'Shake It Off' video

Taylor Swift's fifth studio album will be called "1989" and is due out on October 27 via Big Machine. The cover is a Polaroid-like artwork (see it below) and there will also be a deluxe edition of the album, including three bonus tracks - voice memos recorded to Swift's phone that turned into actual songs.

Taylor also shared a video for the track "Shake It Off", a track co-written by Swift, Max Martin and Shellback, with the latter two producing. Martin and Shellback previously worked with Swift on the hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together".
The clip was filmed in June over the course of three days in Los Angeles and it was directed by legendary director Mark Romanek (he worked with Nine Inch Nails for "Closer" and Janet and Michael Jackson for "Scream).
