Foo Fighters share new trailer for HBO series 'Sonic Highways'

Foo Fighters shared a trailer for the HBO series "Sonic Highways" – built around the chronicle of the recording of their eponymous upcoming album. The series is set to be aired beginning on October 17.

"I really believe that the environment in which you write or record an album influences the musical result", Dave Grohl explains in the trailer. And, indeed, the band chose to record in different studios in different cities all over the country, where they worked with and met with a variety of guests.

The three-and-a-half minute teaser shows slivers of interviews with the names such as Dolly Parton, Slash, Clive Davis, Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen, LL Cool J, Macklemore, Willie Nelson, Fugazi's Ian MacKaye, Steve Albini and more. And there's also President Barack Obama!
