Date finalised for Queen’s long-awaited album

Unreleased recordings by Queen’s flamboyant frontman, the late Freddie Mercury, will be issued as part of a long-anticipated new CD set by the group on 10 November.

The pending release of Queen Forever had already been highlighted by Rockol.com in May.

The tracks include There Must Be More To Life Than This, Mercury’s duet with Michael Jackson which was produced by William Orbit.

The release, which looks set to be a must-have for Queen fans worldwide, is the result of new discoveries made by lead guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor in the group’s archived material.

Some of the songs, such as Let Me In Your Heart Again, are unfinished recordings. Additionally, expect to hear the band’s greatest hits like Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and some reinterpretations of their standards.

A standard version and a deluxe double-album edition of Queen Forever can be pre-ordered on the band’s official website, where the track listing can also be found.
