Noel Gallagher's album 'Chasing Yesterday' due out in March: listen to new song

The new album by Noel Gallagher's new band - The High Flying Birds - will be out in March. The details were unveiled during a Q&A session in London.

The release will be called "Chasing Yesterday" and it is set to be out on March 2 and its lead single is a track titled "In The Heat Of The Moment", which you can listen in advance below.
Talking about the song, Gallagher commented: "The first single was the last track to be recorded. It's called 'In The Heat Of The Moment'. Is it great? Of course it is. What does it mean, it doesn't mean anything".

The whole album was self-produced by Gallagher, since his regular producer, Dave Sardy, was unavailable to work on the record. "I enjoyed the freedom of it but not the responsibility", the musician explained. "I'm used to asking people, 'What are we doing today?' and then people were asking me that question. I finished it the day after the World Cup final. I finished it early, I've been sitting on it a while, it's been burning a hole in my pocket".
