Foo Fighters debut new single 'Something from nothing': listen

Foo Fighters premièred their single "Something From Nothing", taken from the upcoming album "Sonic Highways". The track was recorded in Chicago with producer Steve Albini and it is a tough hard rocking number, with touches of funk, psychedelia and Dave Grohl’s signature monster growl.

"Something From Nothing" came just before the band’s tv series documenting the making of "Sonic Highways", which is hitting HBO on October 17.

"Sonic Highways" (the album) is due out on November 10 via Rockwell Recordings. It was recorded at various studio albums across the country and it features guest contributors including Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard, The Eagles’ Joe Walsh, Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen and Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
