AC/DC: drummer Phil Rudd is not in the latest promo photo

AC/DC shared their first promo shot for the upcomin "Rock Or Bust" album. It obviously features Stevie Young in place of Malcolm Young, but the odd thing is that drummer Phil Rudd is nowhere to be seen.
Reportedly, Rudd  sat out the video shoot for the band's two new singles, "Play Ball" and "Rock Or Bust", on October 3 and October 4 in London, England. According to some rumours he couldn't make it due to some family emergency and Bob Richards filled in for him during the filming - but no official statement has been done on the topic.

Now this photo brings to some new speculations: why didn't the band wait for Rudd to be available for a photo? Why didn't they simply photoshop him in the picture, if he was unable to be there? It seems AC/DC are trying to tell us something... and maybe the message is that Phil Rudd is no more in the band.
