Pete Townshend: 'I hate performing and The Who and touring'

The Who are celebrating their 50th anniversary and they're releasing a 2CD set called "The Who Hits 50", on November 3. They're also kicking off a year-long farewell tour in Glasgow on November 30: something iconic guitarist Pete Townshend isn't really looking forward at.

Townshend, indeed, reportedly told Event magazine: "t seemed like a good idea about six months ago but I hate performing and The Who and touring. But I'm innately good at it, I don't find it hard".

The Who have already more than 50 dates booked between November 2014 and November 2015; they're playing only in the US and UK/Ireland.
