As already widely reported, U2 were scheduled for a week-long residency on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" starting on Monday, November 17 - to promote their latest album "Songs Of Innocence". Unfortunately something went wrong and the band was forced to cancel this plan. Indeed singer and frontman Bono was involved in a bicycle accident which left him injured.

According to a message the band posted on its website, Bono "injured his arm in a cycling spill in Central Park and requires some surgery to repair it". So the singer will undergo surgery.
U2 also added: "We're sure he'll make a full recovery soon, so we'll be back! Much thanks to Jimmy Fallon and everyone at the show for their understanding".
