British champions Blur debuted a new track called "Ong Ong" during a guest spot on "Later… with Jools Holland" tv show, on Tuesday, April 14.

The track is taken from their upcoming new album "The Magic Whip" - their first in 12 years - due out on April 27. This was their second live performance behind new release (the first being an intimate London gig, to perform the whole album for a small audience).

The recordings for Blur's eight studio album began during a five-day break in touring in Spring 2013 (at Avon Studios in Kowloon, Hong Kong), but were then put aside when the group finished touring and returned to their respective lives.
In November 2014, Graham Coxon revisited the tracks and tapped the band’s old friend and early producer Stephen Street to work on the material. Damon Albarn then added lyrics and the 12 tracks of "The Magic Whip" are the result.
