Roger Waters to release remixed version of 'Amused to Death'

Ex Pink Floyd bass player roger Waters officially announced the upcoming release of a newly mixed version of his 1992 solo album "Amused to Death".

The tracks have been remixed in 5.1 surround sound high-definition audio by Waters and co-producer James Guthrie, for better enjoyment. Waters, in a video interview, explained that there have been some major changes in the sound and in some arrangements (for instance, he says a melody was added to the bridge of "The Bravery of Being Out of Range").

The choice to remix and re-release the album is clearly explained by the artist himself:

I’m remembering the record from [over] 20 years ago, that most of what I had to say then sadly still pertains today and is maybe even more relevant to our predicament as people in 2015 even than it was in 1992.
