Rolling Stones: listen to an alternate, rocking version of the classic 'Dead flowers'

Rock legends The Rolling Stones will soon - on June 9 - release their deluxe reissue of "Sticky Fingers", the iconic 1971 album. After unveiling a few alternate takes of tracks, which will appear in the bonus disc, the band shared an unreleased and early version of their classic "Dead Flowers".

According to "Mashable", this take was recorded in 1970. The result is a more rocking and harder song, with Ian Stewart's honky-tonk piano line less audible, finger-picked electric guitar and altered vocals from Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

Other interesting outtakes that will be featured on this reissue include a version of "Brown Sugar" with Eric Clapton, an acoustic version of "Wild Horses" and alternate versions of "Bitch" and "Can't You Hear Me Knocking". There will also be five songs that the group recorded at London's Roundhouse in 1971.

The deluxe box set includes two songs the Stones recorded at the Marquee that year, while the super deluxe edition box set adds the live album "Get Yer Leeds Lungs Out", recorded at Leeds University also in 1971.
