The Rolling Stones: listen to an alternate 'Brown Sugar' version featuring Eric Clapton

A version bootleg version of the classic Rolling stones song "Brown Sugar" featuring Eric Clapton has been around for years; but now, finally, it gets a legitimate and official release through the band's upcoming (due out on June 8) deluxe reissue of the "Sticky Fingers" album.

Slowhand played slide guitar in this take recorded on December 18, 1970, at Olympic Studios in London - at a birthday party for guitarist Keith Richards. It also features Al Kooper on piano. The original "Brown sugar" - the one featured on the classic album - was recorded over a three day session at the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
