Ed Sheeran to make a concert movie from his Wembley Stadium shows

Ed Sheeran has revealed he's going to be following in the footsteps of One Direction and Katy Perry by making a concert doco-movie based around his three sell-out Wembley Stadium shows in London, which take place on 10, 11 and 12 July.

Speaking to Britain's The Sun newspaper, Ed said

We are doing something for the Wembley Stadium gigs. It will be a documentary. It's going to go out in cinemas in the U.K. and Europe. But it's just going to be a one-off thing.

The "Thinking Out Loud" hitmaker who will be shadowed by camera backstage explained that the footage shot at the 90,000 capacity venue will be released in cinemas throughout the UK and mainland Europe. Although he is allowing a camera crew to film these concerts, Ed has no interest in being followed by cameras 24/7 for a reality TV show - yet.

If I had kids and someone came to me and said 'Here's a reality show, here's a bunch of money', of course I'd do it, but I'm not at that stage yet.
