St. Vincent made a mixtape for an 11-year-old on her Beats 1 show

St. Vincent is one of the music celebrity involved in Apple Music's radio station Beats 1. Last night, St. Vincent’s Beats 1 radio show debuted on Apple Music.

The show is called "St. Vincent's Mixtape Delivery Service" and its aim is pretty much simple: fans write in to the show and every week she choose one lucky person and makes a personalised mixtape for them. Last night she creates a mixtape for a girl named Piper. She's 11-year-old. St. Vincent not only made her a mixtape but also interviewd her on the show and played all the song from the mixtape.

Piper loves to dance to Purity Ring and Chvrches, she has singing parties alone at night, so with this in mind Annie Clark picked out songs she “think[s] she’ll love, but probably has missed... because she’s 11.”. The mixtape includes songs by David Bowie, New Order, Depeche Mode, and The Knife.

Check out the full tracklist below. You can listen to a stream of the show here
