Bruce Springsteen joins Brian Wilson to jam in New Jersey - VIDEO

On July 1, Brian Wilson performed a gig at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel (New Jersey), but the attending crowd was treated to a nice surprise when The Boss in person - Bruce Springsteen - joined the legendary Beach Boys member.

Together they performed a couple of Bech Boys classics: on "Barbara Ann" Bruce added vocal harmonies, while on "Surfin’ USA" he played guitar, adding some nice licks to the mix.

This wasn’t, by the way, Springsteen’s first jam with the former Beach Boy. In 2007, indeed, he joined Wilson’s backing band, The Wondermints, at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank to perform the same two songs.
