The Libertines: details of new album "Anthems For Doomed Youth"

2014 ended with The Libertines announcing their return. Now, fresh from their surprise show at Glastonbury, the band have shared details of the new album, called "Anthems For Doomed Youth".

Back in December the band signed a high-profile record deal in Thailand (via The Line of Best Fit), where singer/guitarist Pete Doherty was attending rehab at the time.

This album will be The Libertine's first record in 11 years following their eponymous 2004 LP. 

Anthems For Doomed Youth is out September 4 on Harvest Records, while Rolling Stone reports that the first single is set to debut this Thursday on the BBC.
