Coldplay frontman Chris Martin gave an impromptu performance at a New Delhi café

It was just another Wednesday (July 1) night in the Summerhouse Café in New Delhi’s Hauz Khas Village, until Coldplay frontman Chris Martin showed on stage and gave an impromptu gig. The event excited the crowd and also caused a social media frenzy in the country, as Martin's name trended on Twitter.

According to various tweets from people who attended the gig, with his guitar in hand, Martin performed many of the popular U.K. band’s iconic songs, like "Fix You", "Viva La Vida" and "Paradise".
