Sam Smith denies rumours about recording the next "Bond" theme

Sam Smith was among those rumoured singer to be working on a track for upcoming James Bond's "Spectre" but today (September 3) the singer has confirmed that he's not recording the new Bond theme.

Speaking with Jo Whiley this morning, during her BBC Radio 2 show, about the next Bond theme Sam Smith replied:

That's not me. That's definitely not me. I've still got loads to do, I've got an Australia tour, but I kind of finish in December which is great, it gives me a chance to be in London, be in my home and go out with my friends.

Bookmakers' favourite to sing "Spectre"'s theme is Ellie Goulding but they're now betting outrageous money on Radioheasd.

"Spectre", starring Daniel Craig in his fourth outing as James Bond, will be released in the UK on October 26 and opens internationally on November 6.
