Seattle's arena rockers Pearl Jam closed the South America and Mexico branch of their tour on Saturday, November 28. It was a nine-show trek, where every concert clocked in at over three hours and the set list was packed with the band's biggest hits, fan favorites and surprise covers.

Pearl Jam covered Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb," John Lennon's "Imagine", Eagles of Death Metal's "I Want You So Hard (Boy's Bad News)" and -during the band's November 25 gig in Bogotá, Colombia - Eddie Vedder treated the crowd to a solo rendition of U2's "The Unforgettable Fire" opener "A Sort of Homecoming".

Vedder sang a portion of the track, then launched into Pearl Jam's "Yield" cut "MFC".

According to the official Pearl Jam site, the band had already - briefly - played "The Unforgettable Fire" track on November 8, 2006 in Sydney, Australia. However, the Bogotá concert marked the first time in over nine years that Pearl Jam covered the song onstage.
