Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band announce The River tour

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will tour North American in January to celebrate the release of "The Ties That Bind: The River Collection" box set. The box set includes the remastered double album, which was originally released in 1980, as well as The River: The Single Album, which Springsteen recorded in 1979 but never released.

The tour will kick off in Pittsburgh on 16th January, and every show of the nine week stretch will be recorded and made available for download or physical purchase on Live.BruceSpringsteen.net. Check out the tour dates on Bruce Springsteen website.

In addition to The River tour, Springsteen will serve as musical guest on the December 19th episode of Saturday Night Live.
