One Direction's Liam Payne co-wrote a song for an Irish band

Liam Payne had written a song for Irish band HomeTown,. The 1D singer is the first of the group to 'release' a sog during the band break. 

Due to music rights HomeTown's music was limited to Ireland for a while. Now, HomeTown's music video for "The Night We Met" is available to view on VEVO.

Payne shared the tune on Twitter Monday (Dec. 21), writing, "listen loud and enjoy!". The song is penned by Payne and co-writer Jamie Scott, you can watch and listen to it below
