SoundCloud Pulse now available for iOS creators everywhere

SoundCloud has finally released an iOS version of its SoundCloud Pulse app, which debuted last November on Android.

Just like with the Android version, the app is a helpful tool for creators - who had felt a little bit under-appreciated as the company focused all of its efforts on the listeners’ experience - allowing them access to some of the functionalities available in the browser experience.

The app enables creators to engage with their communities by replying to comments on tracks, following their accounts’ stats, following other SondCloud users and also blocking users (spam continues to be a problem on the platform).

It will be interesting to see how SoundCloud Pulse evolves as the company shifts to become a premium and (presumably) ad-supported service later in 2016. Pulse could become a hub for understanding where listeners are coming from, picking cities to tour in, figuring out how much money you’re making from the streaming service and much more.
