St. Vincent to debut as a director with all-female horror anthology "XX"

St. Vincent (real name Annie Clark) will debut as a director in the all female horror anthology film titled "XX". Magnet Releasing, the genre arm of Magnolia Pictures, broke the news: Clark's segment was co-written and will be produced by horror veteran Roxanne Benjamin, whose credits include the "V/H/S" films.

In addition to Clark, other directors involved in the project are Karyn Kusama ("The Invitation"), Jennifer Lynch and Jovanka Vuckovic ("Surveillance").

The musician commented:

I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to explore the genre-film medium

While Magnolia president Eamonn Bowles said:

I've long been a fan of Annie's work. We're excited to watch the singular vision she'll bring to this project.
