Bruce Springsteen kicks off European leg of "The River Tour" in Barcelona

Just three weeks after the end of the US leg of “The River Tour” in Brooklyn, Bruce Springsteen started the the European leg with a show in Camp Nou in Barcelona. 

Springsteen had stated that for this part of the tour he would not be performing the entirety of “The River” album that gives the tour its name. 

He ended up performing 12 out of the 20 tracks that make up the album. The concert lasted three and a half hours with 36 songs in total. 

During the concert, Springsteen paid tribute to Prince with a rendition “Purple Rain” as part of the encore - video and complete set list below.
